Award Notification and Presentation

  • The Awards will be presented at the annual Flood Risk Management-Silver Jackets Workshop to be held August 20-24, 2012 in Harrisburg, PA. The Team award recipients will be notified by their USACE Silver Jackets Coordinator, who will be notified through the USACE chain of command.
  • The Silver Jackets Team award recipients will be presented with a plaque and each team member will receive a certificate. While contractors may be part of a winning team, DOD guidance specifies that recognition or acknowledgement for “substantial” contractor efforts may only be in the form of a letter either to the individual or to the individual’s employer or both. Such letters may only be presented in an informal setting.
