Flood Risk Assessment
International Upper Great Lakes Study
A contract was awarded in March 2011 to integrate existing geospatial datasets at four selected sites along the Great Lakes shoreline in the United States and Canada, and to use the data and the methods to estimate the impacts of flooding and low water at these sites. Contractors will use the experience gained to identify datasets required to undertake similar analysis on other areas of the Great Lakes and to support part of the adaptive management of the Great Lakes expected to occur after the International Upper Great Lakes Study is completed.
